The Long Range version now features an enlarged battery pack of 84.2 kWh (up from 78.1 kWh), boosting its WLTP-rated range from 622 km to an impressive 661 km, a notable increase of 39 km on a single charge. This update maintains the same rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration and 299 horsepower electric motor, allowing the Model Y to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds.
The base Standard RWD variant remains unchanged, continuing to offer a 64 kWh battery and a WLTP range of 500 km with a 0-100 km/h time of 5.9 seconds. Tesla has kept the ex-showroom prices the same for both variants in India, with the Standard model priced at Rs 59.89 lakh and the Long Range model at Rs 67.89 lakh.
